How is your moolank (root number) calculated?

Your moolank, also called the root or psychic number, comes from the day of the month you were born, reduced to a single digit. If you were born on the 14th, add 1 and 4 to get 5; if you were born on the 29th, 2 plus 9 is 11, and 1 plus 1 gives 2. Your bhagyank, or destiny number, uses the whole date: for 14 March 1992, you add 1+4+0+3+1+9+9+2 to get 29, then reduce it to 2.
