About Shreya
A Vedic astrology consultation with Shreya focuses as much on your strengths as on your problems. Shreya is a Vedic astrologer on HealAstro who consults in Hindi and English, and she likes to show clients the supportive combinations, or yogas, in their charts before discussing the difficult areas, so the reading leaves you with a balanced, realistic picture.
A lot of people come to astrology only when something is going wrong. Shreya still answers the urgent question, but she also points out what your chart is naturally good at: the talents, relationships and kinds of work where you are likely to do well. Knowing that often makes the hard periods easier to handle.
What you can ask Shreya about
- Yogas in your chart: which beneficial combinations you have and when they are likely to show results.
- Career potential: the fields your strongest planets support.
- Relationships and marriage: the seventh house, Venus and timing of commitment.
- Difficult periods: what a challenging dasha or transit means and how to prepare for it.
- Education: subjects and paths that suit a student's chart.
- Remedies: simple Vedic remedies such as mantras or charity linked to specific planets.
What are yogas in a Vedic birth chart?
In Vedic astrology, a yoga is a specific combination of planets that produces a particular result. Some of the best known are Gaja Kesari yoga, formed when Jupiter is in an angular house (1st, 4th, 7th or 10th) from the Moon, and associated with wisdom and reputation; Budhaditya yoga, when the Sun and Mercury sit together, linked with intelligence and communication; and Raja yogas, formed when the lords of angular houses connect with the lords of trinal houses (1st, 5th and 9th), which point to status and success. There are also the five Pancha Mahapurusha yogas, created when Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus or Saturn is strong in an angular house. Having a yoga is not enough on its own: the planets involved must be reasonably strong, and the results usually appear during their dasha periods. Doshas are the opposite side of the picture, and this explainer on planetary doshas in a kundli covers them. For a written overview of both, see the complete kundli report.

FAQs
What happens in a Vedic astrology consultation?
The astrologer casts your chart from your birth details, reads the ascendant, Moon sign, planets, yogas and doshas, and then looks at your current dasha and transits. After the overview, the session usually turns to your specific questions about work, relationships or timing.
Does having a Raja yoga mean I will be rich or famous?
Not necessarily. A Raja yoga shows potential for status and success, but how much it delivers depends on the strength of the planets involved and the dasha you are running. Shreya will tell you how strong your yogas are and when they are likely to be active.
Can I book a consultation online if I live abroad?
Yes. Shreya's online consultation works from anywhere. Just share your birth place and time accurately, and you can consult online in Hindi or English.
