Srinivas

Srinivas is a Kannada astrologer on HealAstro who also consults in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English. He works with KP astrology, classical Vedic astrology and numerology, and he is especially useful when you have one urgent question and no reliable birth time to work from, because he also reads prashna, or horary, charts.

Having five languages means Srinivas can speak with the whole family, whether the grandparents are more at ease in Kannada or Tamil and the younger generation prefers English. His style is calm and methodical: he settles on the question, chooses the right method for it, and then explains the answer step by step.

What you can ask Srinivas about

• Urgent single questions: prashna readings for "Will this deal close?" or "Will I get this job?".
• Marriage and alliances: timing of marriage and compatibility; this article on marriage prediction by date of birth gives useful background.
• Career moves: KP timing for promotions, transfers and job offers.
• Property and legal matters: whether a purchase, sale or dispute is likely to resolve in your favour.
• Lost items or delays: horary questions about things that seem stuck.
• Numbers: numerology checks for names, dates and vehicle or house numbers.

What is prashna kundli (horary astrology)?

A prashna kundli is a chart cast for the moment a question is asked, rather than for the moment of birth. The idea is that a sincere question carries the answer within the sky at the time it arises. It is ideal when your birth time is unknown, or when you need a focused answer to one specific matter. In the KP system, the astrologer often asks you to give a number between 1 and 249; each number corresponds to a precise sub-division of the zodiac, which becomes the ascendant of the horary chart. The astrologer then checks the cuspal sub-lords and ruling planets connected to the houses that govern your question, for example the tenth for a job or the seventh for marriage, and the timing of the relevant dasha and transit. If you also want to look at an alliance the traditional way, you can try kundli matching online first.

If you would like another opinion, HealAstro lets you talk to astrologers by call, or you can chat with astrologers over text and pick an online astrologer or another Indian astrologer whose approach suits you.

FAQs

Can I consult a Kannada astrologer online?

Yes. Srinivas offers online consultation in Kannada, and also in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English. You can consult online from anywhere and switch languages during the session if that helps your family follow along.

When should I choose a prashna reading instead of a birth chart reading?

Choose prashna when you have one specific question that needs an answer, or when your birth time is unknown or unreliable. For a broad view of your life, personality and long-term periods, a birth chart reading is more suitable.

How many questions can I ask in a horary reading?

Traditionally one question per chart, asked sincerely and only once. If you have several questions, Srinivas can cast a separate horary chart for each, or answer some of them from your birth chart.
